Maximus review
By The Dose Brief Desk · Updated
Maximus advertises a two-month tirzepatide plan and a separate brand-name catalog; keep those prices and prescriptions distinct.
Not rated. This review examines published program information; it is not a firsthand treatment review.
At a glance
- Semaglutide
- Branded options appear in the catalog; exact total requires a quote
- Tirzepatide
- From $249.99/month on a two-month plan
- Availability
- Confirm your state and the selected medication.
- Treatment formats
- Tirzepatide treatment plus a separate catalog of branded GLP-1 products.
The tirzepatide starting rate is tied to a two-month plan, not a confirmed single-month purchase.
Read the two-month condition
Maximus advertises tirzepatide from $249.99 a month on a two-month plan. That commitment belongs beside the price. Ask for the full amount due, the shipment schedule and whether the same rate applies to your prescribed dose before treating it as a monthly budget.
FDA warning letter: June 8, 2026
FDA issued warning letter 730095 to Maximus Health, Inc. dba Maximus on June 8, 2026, after reviewing maximustribe.com in May. It cited claims implying clinical evaluation of the compounded products and references to FDA-approved pharmacies. FDA explained that it does not grant that approval designation to compounding pharmacies.
This dated letter concerns the marketing identified in that review. It should not be interpreted as evidence that every current prescription is defective or that every later website statement is unchanged. A subsequent closeout or FDA acceptance of corrective action was not established in this source check.
Brand products are a separate comparison
The catalog also lists products including Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro and Zepbound. Their presence does not mean a compounded-plan headline covers a brand prescription. Obtain a product-specific total and clarify whether medication is included, especially if using an insurance or manufacturer payment route.
What the platform advertises
Maximus says it has no membership fee and includes priority shipping. It describes clinician-led treatment, but the reviewed homepage does not establish the individual dispensing pharmacy or complete cancellation rules for the selected weight-loss offer.
Before choosing the longer plan
The useful comparison is the cost of the same medication and term, with the same included follow-up. Request the renewal amount and what happens to unused supply if treatment changes. Catalog breadth alone does not tell you which medication is clinically suitable or available in your state.
What stands out
- Two-month qualification accompanies the tirzepatide rate
- Brand and other treatment choices are visible
What to check
- Starting rate is not a one-month quote
- Pharmacy and unused-supply terms need confirmation
- Dated FDA warning-letter context warrants review
Sources and review scope
Public information checked in October 2026. Prices and eligibility can change. We have not enrolled in treatment, independently tested medications or verified the licenses of the clinicians and pharmacies involved in an individual prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved; studies of approved brands do not establish that a compounded product has the same safety or effectiveness.
