Provider review
Novera MD review
By The Dose Brief Desk · Updated
Novera publishes separate GLP-1 starting prices and identifies the WizDoc clinical network. The purchase term, renewal total and cancellation policy remain the key comparison gaps.

Do not mistake a monthly headline for a monthly contract
Novera’s product pages advertise semaglutide from $94.31 a month and tirzepatide from $164.31, alongside buy-now-pay-later messaging. The pages reviewed do not explain the purchase term, upfront amount, financing terms or post-introductory cost behind those figures. They are useful starting points for a quote, not proof of month-to-month treatment at those prices.
Clinical network and ongoing care
The terms say independent licensed providers affiliated with the WizDoc network make clinical decisions; Novera is a facilitation platform. Product pages describe physician-set dosing, check-ins and follow-up labs. Ask which of those services are included in the quoted total and whether any additional laboratory bill applies. The assigned pharmacy is described generically rather than named on the reviewed product pages.
State and formulation checks
Novera’s terms say service availability varies by jurisdiction and that a live consultation may be required in some states. Both injection pages identify U.S.-compounded products. Neither a pharmacy-testing claim nor general GLP-1 research makes a compounded preparation FDA-approved. Confirm the exact product and prescribing rationale with the clinician.
Our assessment
Novera is more transparent about its clinical network than platforms that name no group. Its pricing still needs a complete purchase agreement, including medication quantity, recurring charges and a cancellation/refund deadline. Those details were not established from the product pages and terms reviewed, so we would not rank it as a verified $94.31 or $164.31 monthly option.
What stands out
- Medication-specific starting prices are published
- Terms name the WizDoc clinical network
What to check
- Purchase and financing terms behind prices are unresolved
- No complete cancellation or renewal quote on reviewed pages
Sources and review scope
Public information checked in October 2026. Prices and eligibility can change. We have not enrolled in treatment, independently tested medications or verified the licenses of the clinicians and pharmacies involved in an individual prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved; studies of approved brands do not establish that a compounded product has the same safety or effectiveness.
