Kora MD review

GLP-1 care with on-demand support and named clinical partners, but competing price offers need reconciliation before a complete medication quote is established.

Several prices do not make one complete quote
Kora MD’s personalized treatment page (opens in a new tab) displays semaglutide starting at $179 per month and tirzepatide at $269. Other visible sections advertise a $119 introductory compounded GLP-1 month and a $229 compounded GLP-1/GIP month. These are concurrent offers, not a single dependable starting-and-renewal ladder. Ask which offer applies to the medication and formulation your clinician recommends.
The same page qualifies a $179 GLP-1 figure as a three-month plan paid upfront or through a financing program. A monthly equivalent financed over time is not necessarily a cancelable monthly purchase. Obtain the total commitment, amount collected initially, supply period and renewal charge together. Our billing-cycle guide explains how to compare those terms without treating every monthly label as the same contract.
Care sessions are included, but confirm the scope
Kora advertises Personal Care Clinician support, ongoing messaging, provider visits and medication when prescribed. It says prices do not increase with dose and presents membership as included. Those descriptions do not prove that every public price covers the same product or term. Ask which appointments, tests, supplies and shipments belong to your selected offer.
The cancellation policy (opens in a new tab) says the services and laboratory tests covered by a subscription may vary. A headline value assigned to included support is not a separate cash saving or a guarantee of treatment results. Our lab-cost checklist helps identify testing charges before paying.
The clinical practice and pharmacy are disclosed separately
The terms (opens in a new tab) and cancellation policy identify Kora Health LLC as the administrative platform. Clinical evaluations and prescribing are attributed to OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, PC and affiliated professional entities. Independent clinicians decide whether treatment is appropriate; joining Kora does not guarantee a particular medication.
The policy names RedRock Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Compounding Pharmacy and Triad Rx as pharmacy partners. Confirm the facility that will actually dispense your prescription and its authorization for your state, using our pharmacy verification guide. The all-fifty-states-and-D.C. statement is qualified: some services may be unavailable in some locations. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved.
A timely cancellation stops future billing
The cancellation policy says the first month is charged when intake is completed and promises a full refund for medical disqualification. Confirm the exact upfront payment, when it is collected and how a nonapproval refund is processed before submitting a paid intake.
Cancellation must arrive at least seventy-two hours before billing to prevent the next charge. The policy lists customer service, phone, an available account function and OpenLoop support as routes. Ordinary cancellation is generally nonrefundable; medical disqualification and inability to fulfill a prepaid plan have separate provisions. Keep the confirmation and ask how any unprovided portion is calculated rather than assuming an unused balance is automatically returned.
Who should compare Kora MD?
Kora is worth comparing for its support model and named provider and pharmacy network. The main reservation is the gap between several published prices and a complete selected-plan quote. Resolve that quote, the first-charge trigger, testing costs and the applicable refund agreement before prepaying. The support package may be useful, but its advertised value cannot settle the total cost or make an unsuitable prescription appropriate.
What stands out
- Describes on-demand support and ongoing provider access
- Names its clinical network and pharmacy partners
- Publishes cancellation notice and fulfillment-refund provisions
What to check
- Concurrent price offers do not establish one clear recurring quote
- Some headline pricing requires three-month prepayment or financing
- Initial-charge and nonapproval handling need confirmation
- Subscription inclusions and location-specific access can vary
Sources and review scope
Public information checked in November 2026. Prices and eligibility can change. We have not enrolled in treatment, independently tested medications or verified the licenses of the clinicians and pharmacies involved in an individual prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved; studies of approved brands do not establish that a compounded product has the same safety or effectiveness.
