At a glance
- Semaglutide
- Wegovy tablet advertised from $149/month plus membership; other semaglutide products require their own formulation, dose and pharmacy quote
- Tirzepatide
- Zepbound is listed among treatment choices; current dose-specific medication charge and complete care total were not established
- Availability
- U.S. care is limited to supported locations and appropriately licensed clinicians; a complete current GLP-1 state roster was not established.
- Treatment formats
- Separate branded oral Wegovy and injectable choices are advertised. A non-branded semaglutide listing does not by itself establish its exact formulation or dispensing arrangement.

In this review
Membership and medication are separate costs
Healthspan’s GLP-1 care page (opens in a new tab) lists membership starting at $99 per month. It says GLP-1 medication is billed separately according to the prescription and pharmacy. The membership amount is therefore a care fee, rather than a complete semaglutide or tirzepatide price.
The Wegovy tablet page (opens in a new tab) separately advertises $149 per month plus membership. It does not establish one ongoing charge for every strength or patient. Obtain the prescribed dose, pharmacy price and applicable membership commitment together. Our billing guide helps compare the complete arrangement without mistaking either advertised component for the total.
The care model emphasizes follow-up and laboratory trends
The program describes clinician evaluation, dosing and tolerance review, nutrition and strength guidance, and ongoing coaching. It also advertises tracking more than seventy biomarkers and up to three comprehensive lab panels per year. Ask which panels, collection arrangements and follow-up services belong to your selected membership, and which additional testing could be charged separately.
The useful question is how those services will guide your own follow-up. Provider claims about longevity, preserved muscle or broad health-system benefits do not establish an individual patient’s outcome. Our lab-cost checklist can help distinguish a defined testing benefit from an open-ended promise of comprehensive monitoring.
Different prescription options have different fulfillment paths
The Wegovy page (opens in a new tab) says an approved prescription goes to NovoPharmacy, where the patient completes medication payment and fulfillment directly. That is the specific pathway described for this branded tablet. It should not be generalized to every injectable or non-branded option in the catalog.
The same public pages list Zepbound, injectable Wegovy and non-branded semaglutide as separate choices. A non-branded label alone does not identify a current compounded preparation or its pharmacy. Confirm the actual product and dispensing facility with our pharmacy checklist; brand approval does not extend to a different compounded formulation.
Confirm the professional relationship and eligibility
The terms (opens in a new tab) identify Healthspan as the platform and distinguish independent professionals affiliated with professional entities from the platform itself. The treating professional is responsible for clinical care. Enrollment and payment do not establish that a particular prescription will be clinically appropriate.
The terms limit access to supported U.S. locations and reserve eligibility requirements. The reviewed pages did not establish a complete current GLP-1 state list or the clinician assigned to a particular member. Confirm the state where you receive care, the prescribing professional and how to obtain follow-up or transfer records before relying on a nationwide-looking website.
Ask for the membership agreement before committing
The public terms (opens in a new tab) describe medical consultation fees as nonrefundable and prescription sales as final, with an error-reporting route. They do not settle the selected GLP-1 membership’s complete paid term, automatic-renewal authorization or cancellation deadline. A monthly starting figure does not answer those contract questions.
Healthspan may suit someone seeking structured follow-up alongside a separately purchased prescription, including people already taking a GLP-1 elsewhere. Obtain the current patient agreement, medication quote and any lab charges first. Use our refund checklist to confirm how stopping membership affects future charges, unused care and continuing prescription support.
What stands out
- Separates the membership fee from medication charges
- Describes ongoing clinical follow-up, coaching and biomarker tracking
- Names the direct fulfillment pathway for the branded Wegovy tablet
What to check
- Advertised membership and medication amounts are not a complete personal quote
- Current membership commitment and cancellation cutoff require confirmation
- Other formulations, assigned clinicians and medication-specific states need verification
Sources and review scope
Public information checked in November 2026. Prices and eligibility can change. We have not enrolled in treatment, independently tested medications or verified the licenses of the clinicians and pharmacies involved in an individual prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved; studies of approved brands do not establish that a compounded product has the same safety or effectiveness.
